Who doesn’t love the idea of travelling the world and making money? It’s a win-win, right?
Like all things, there are two sides to every story, and doing a lot of work travel can increase stress while abroad.
Here are some basics tips on how to reduce stress while you’re travelling for work.
The first thing you can do for your body is to eat well. Drink lots of water, especially on long flights, and don’t buy any junk food.
The second thing that is a recurring theme is sleep. Waking up at the same time every morning and reducing your alcohol and caffeine intake in the evening.
Finally, exercise. It is very difficult to do when you are travelling, but mix in some push-ups in the morning in the hotel room, find a gym or go for a quick jog, really anything you can do to help you reduce stress through exercise.
Remember while work is important and travel can lead to some amazing experiences, you need to be prioritizing your body and health to stay on top of your game.
