CALGARY, AB Sep. 27 2022 – The Globe and Mail named headversity – a leading provider of preventative mental health training technology for employers – as No. 47 in the 4th Annual Report on Business ranking of Canada’s Top Growing Companies Of 2022.
This year’s report comprised 430 businesses, where headversity earned its No. 47 spot in our first appearance in their rankings. 2022 has been a banner year, highlighted by the previously announced 10 M USD Series A funding to scale our industry-leading technology of workforce mental health and resilience upskilling.
Fuelled by partnerships with leading brands like Shell, ATB Financial, London Drugs, and the Detroit Pistons, we saw a three-year revenue growth of more than 939% and now service learners in more than 22 countries worldwide.
What’s behind our growth story? Dr. Ryan Todd, headversity CEO and co-founder says heaversity’s focus on prevention and hands-on upskilling has been a key reason for its success.
“One of the many reasons headversity has emerged as a go-to solution for the workforce is its focus on prevention,” said Dr. Todd. “We’ve seen a market shift that impacted far more people acutely when it comes to mental health over the past few years, yet most programs in place are intervening when employees are in distress. Whether it be in person or a telehealth service, there aren’t enough counselors to meet the growing mental health demands today. Being able to scale our technology and give people the evidence-based training and tools they can work on independently, or in a team setting, we feel is the best way to meet the growing needs in the workplace. We are uniquely positioned in the industry in the prevention space and we’re grateful that it’s resonated with our partners and for the recognition of our growth as a result.”
headversity is a mental health and resilience platform that gets the workforce ahead of adversity. Reaching more than 1M employees worldwide, we’ve helped organizations revamp their wellbeing strategy with a focus on prevention, avoiding costly outcomes around safety and performance, and bringing mental health to the centre of work culture.
